Photoreview of the Batumi Botanical Garden, Georgia

Photoreview of the Batumi Botanical Garden - the largest botanical garden in Georgia. The park is located just 9 km from Batumi and it is possible to get to it by a city bus, a minibus service or a taxi. The garden is located on the slope of a mountain and offers miles of walking trails with spectacular views of the Black Sea.

There are three entrances to the park, and a leisurely walk from North to South will take about 3 hours. There are many branching paths, stairs, and sections formed according to origins of the residing plants: a citrus plantation, a bamboo grove, Mexican and Australian sections, a Japanese corner and much more.

Batumi Botanical Garden also offers a swimming opportunity to families with kids - there are two beaches on the shore of the Black Sea.
